Planning Requirements for a Mobile Log Cabin

The legal definition of a mobile home is the same as that for a caravan. The Caravan Site Act of 1968 – Section 29 states ‘the structure must be physically capable of being moved from one place to another by road and that the twin unit must be no more than 20 metres long, 6.80 metres wide and the living accommodation no more than 3.096 metres high.’

Please contact the office to discuss any questions you may have regarding how our log cabins conform to the mobile home act.
